METER ERROR RESPONSE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
There are different error prompts displayed by different meter types as
a result of different reasons.
These errors and different ways to troubleshoot are explained below:
‘AAAAAAAA’ – INVALID TOKEN
One of the following reasons could be why the token is invalid:
‘EEEEEEE’ - TOKEN PROCESSING FAILED
This occurs when the token is accepted by the meter but cannot be
processed.
One of the following reasons could be why the token is invalid:
• The tariff index on the
token is not the same as the tariff index programmed into the meter
• The supply group code that the token was made on differs from the supply group code in the meter.
•
‘DDDDDDDDD’ – DUPLICATE OR USED
TOKEN.
This occurs when a token has the same ID as a token already entered which means a token with the same token ID is already loaded into the meter. This means that the said entered token has already been loaded by you.
‘Y-UD-NO’ - DUPLICATE OR USED
TOKEN
‘USE-D’ – DUPLICATE OR USED TOKEN
‘FA iLEd’ - This means
communication between the meter and the monitor failed.
‘rEJECt’ – When an incorrect or incomplete token is inputted into the UIU. A prompt like this could pop- up.
To resolve this, the Customer should check the Followings:
• Customer should check
the token inputted.
